Uninstalling Windows Vista Home Basic?

Alright...so I have just spent the past 7 days attempting to get rid of the viruses on my computer. It just isn't working and my expertise ends here. I need to know how to uninstall Windows Vista Home Basic. I do not have a recovery disc, just the installation disc...Can someone please help me?
