Majoring in Botany (medical marijuana)?

Ask yourself what you already know about growing and move on from there. Horticulture and botany will pretty much lead you on your way to grow anything but marijuana is something that has been progressing beyond basic botany. Personally I would mix in real life work experience with college education at the same time. Try looking through the forums to get idea's....but really the college should show you the way. You're going to learn about what nutrients and trace elements a plant needs to grow healthy. Only thing I question about a college education in connection to cannabis is the amount of actual study on strains you can do with college books. I think no matter what growers will love to hear from you if you are in school studying the aspects that they haven't learned.
